Red Cross thanks donors, supporters

The results are in for the American Red Cross/ASBP Fort Knox   Community Blood Drive. One hundred and thirty nine Fort Knox personnel gave blood on Feb. 15 resulting in 116 productive units of blood for area hospitals.
More than 330 lives will be affected by the generous donations. On behalf of those patients, we thank you. It took everyone doing their part to make this blood drive a success.
So many departments and Fort Knox personnel gave us the opportunity to work with them
behind the scene in the days and weeks leading up to the blood drive. Without their commitment and support we would not have been successful in helping to save so many lives.
Your ongoing support and commitment will be needed again in April, so mark your calendars now for April 19 from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at Sadowski Field House.
As we move forward in our partnership with the Armed Services Blood Program, we are looking forward in continuing to build the Fort Knox Community Blood Drive. If you have ideas or suggestions on how to help us, contact any one of us to let us know how we may be better able to serve you.
