Partnership teaches
business launch
University of Louisville
Go from veteran to entrepreneur by applying to the University of Louisville’s Veteran’s Business Start-Up Program. This innovative 10-week program that includes one year business coach/mentoring is funded by the Kentucky Veterans Program Trust Fund. It will connect you with others—vets and non-vets—who have the imagination, will, and initiative to start a business. Taught by expert faculty and business people and incorporating the highly successful Kauffman Fast-Track program, you’ll learn how to hone your ideas, develop a business and strategic plan, and develop a network of others who can help as you move to start-up. Plus, participants will receive up to $2,500 reimbursement toward valid start-up expenses and will have access to seasoned professionals for advice. It’s no easy mission, but if you are a vet, a Kentucky resident, have a great idea, and plan to start a business that will employ other Kentucky residents, learn more about the program and apply for admission at: http://business.louisville.edu/vetstart. Feb. 3 is the last date to submit an application; a draft business plan is a preferred part of the application.
